My sister has just started a blog of her own. It’s called “Fab’s Treats”. She gives classic recipes and recreates it to fit a healthier lifestyle. A couple things I can’t live without: family and chocolate (sometimes wine). A favorite thing my sisters and I like to do on Saturday nights is renting a movie from the RedBox and making our own healthy version of classic desserts. As we were contemplating what we wanted, the craving for gooey s’mores could leave not our mouths. We attempted googling easy recipes for s’mores but none of them seemed appetizing or healthy enough to fit my lifestyle. So, I recreated my own version of a Betty Crocker recipe to fit my health limitations.
This semi-healthy* s’mores cake is gluten-. dairy-free as well as hassle-free. Note: it is INDEED MESSY. Overall, it takes about 25 minutes to create (19 of those minutes are baking the crust in the oven).
– 1 pouch of XO Baking Company Gluten-Free Sugar Cookie Mix
– 1 box Gluten-Free S’moreables Graham Style Crackers
