About Your Way With Words

Hello people of the world! My name is Nicole and this is my blog, Your Way With Words. Now that the cheesy part is over, let’s get “serious”.

Your Way With Words started as an assignment for my Rhetoric & Composition class in the Fall 2013 semester. You can see the beginnings of it within the “Rhet & Comp” category near the bottom of the home page. Is it dorky to say I was the only excited student in the class when my professor told us? At first, I found it a little difficult because I write novels (metaphorically and literally) but I love it. I’m having so much fun with this and I hope you as my followers do as well.

Your Way With Words focuses on optimism, love, friendship, success and societal problems (usually in a non-rant way). There are many people out there who go online and just rant and complain and don’t find any solutions. I do not want to be like that. Therefore, negativity is banned from this blog. I only allow positive energy, solutions and smiles.

YWWW has four categories: “Quote of the Day”, “Galleries”, “Rhet & Comp” and “Everything Else”. The daily quotes I post are part of my “Quote of the Day” series that I began last fall in honor of my high school U.S History teacher (check out October 13’s post “It’s Always an Adventure with Africa!”). “Galleries” is where I will post things relating to photography (usually my own but other people’s as well because their talent and creativity should be seen). “Rhet & Comp,” as mentioned before, was for my school assignment but still open to the public. “Everything Else” is, well, everything else! It’s the main category for YWWY that will have anything and everything you can think of.
